A very special thank you goes out to Eric Simon of Eric’s Pet Service’s Inc. and Anthony Caggiano of Empire Lighting for spear-heading the First Annual Chamber General Membership BBQ on May 31st. The Day was filled with great food, great friends and great conversation. We were able to meet the families of our membership and by the end of the afternoon we had become one big extended family. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!

The Margate Chamber of Commerce has had a successful and busy month for networking. We participated in the May 1st Business Partner and Community Expo hosted at Margate Middle School, and sincerely enjoyed this opportunity to meet the many faces of the Margate Business Community up close and personal. Special thanks go out to Teea Peeples from API Insurance, Anthony Caggiano from Empire Lighting, and Luigi Pace from Waste Management for volunteering their time at this event.

The Chamber also represented Margate at the South Florida Expo, hosted by the South Florida Chamber of Commerce at JM Lexus. This event was a smashing success, as always, the Chamber was able to increase our knowledge of the growing business trends and concerns affecting all of the South Florida Area. We look forward to filling you in on the latest news from the South Florida Area at upcoming events.

The Margate Chamber of Commerce continues to seek out ways that we can better support the business needs of the Margate community, ensuring a vital and productive local economy for all. To that end we have established a Membership Committee, whose mission is to fully elucidate the benefits of membership in an effort to provide added value to existing members and attract new members. In doing so the Membership Committee hopes to increase the diversification of the Chamber in order to represent the entire Margate Business community.
